AS Oma Ehitaja will modernize Ida-Viru Central Hospital.

On 27^th of July AS Oma Ehitaja and Ida-Viru Central Hospital signed a general contract of the first phase of construction works of Ida-Viru active treatment compound.

A new modern hospital complex will be built in Kohtla–Järve Ahtme district to the existing housing. In the first stage of construction will be built ready the core part of active treatment compound&nbsp*** &nbsp***– the emergency department to treat patients with the necessary diagnostic and emergency services, maternity unit, intensive care department, operating unit, accommodation rooms and surgical departments, day surgery unit. Housing construction, representing a total of 12 000 m2 gross area.

This allows the hospital to stop the relocation of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care and Emergency Service Department in two duplication blocks, which is important from an economic point of view, as well as increase patient safety through the concentration of complex structures in one location.
